Game 3 is upon us! Who do you predict will win? Where will Gutho end up playing? Will Cook get dropped as rumoured? Will Queensland achieve the rare whitewash? What other insane decisions will Freddy make in his (presumedly) last game as coach?
I am hoping for a QLD victory for the whitewash, but despite the NSW team being a headscratcher I’m not overly confident. They’re so hard to get, and NSW will want to avoid the embarrassment. Teddy is potentially playing for his origin career at this point so will be primed for a big game.
Prediction: QLD in a very close match.
Hopefully QLD will be able to actually snag a penalty and set restart or 2 this game. The referee has been very hesitant to award us anything this series.
After the last effort a whitewash is definitely an option.
Yeah, the whitewash is so rare because the side that’s down 0-2 has a lot more motivation than the side that’s up 2-0.
I reckon we’ll know in the first 10 minutes whether anything has changed for the Blues, if they feint up and get the big boys on a tear it will open up a lot of opportunities for them. On the flip if QLD get a quick try I can see it fading real quick.

I’m a NSW supporter but I hope we get smashed tonight. It’s a dead rubber, even if we win we’ll be losing if Freddy is still here.
We know Freddy has no plan for Gutho so does that mean if there are no injuries to any backs, he won’t get a run? Or perhaps he’ll get the obligatory run-on out of position with 8 minutes to go.
Well he wasn’t going to give nicho a chance originally…so I think we have the answer. I don’t care if we get smashed tonight as long as we get a new coach, anyone can do better than Freddy at this stage even Joe blow from the pub down the road.
