    Youtube has made similar changes a while back. YouTube recommendations feature small/tiny channels with few subscribers a lot more often.

    It’s mixed results for viewers but it does help to good small channels to not be drowned out by the bigger players.

      Oh! That’s why I’ve been finding tiny channels with oddly well made videos lately.

      It’s a play to try to fix the algo. Large creators have gaming the system down to a science and it’s making the experience as bad as yaho… google search.

    I was quite proud of my profile there. I had over 300 high quality photographs there taken by me and zero bullshit like pictures of meals etc. After using it for close to 10 years I had gained 32 subscribers and was getting around 10 likes on average. I just stopped posting and left. Why bother if no one is even seeing them. I’m not going to start spamming several posts a week just to please the algorithms, I post when I have something of value to show. This comes too late. I’m already gone.

    Or maybe just let me focus on who I choose to follow? I’m not there for content discovery, though I know that’s why most people are.
