- THE EXCHANGE: Customization items from the past return in Halo Infinite’s new Exchange store, purchased with free Spartan Points which can be earned by completing matches and your weekly Ultimate Reward.
- OPERATION PASS: A free new 20-tier Operation Pass themed around the might of the Banished.
- SANDBOX TUNING: Halo Infinite’s sandbox is getting some tuning updates based on community feedback, including EMPowering players with the return of the Plasma Pistol’s ability to stun vehicles.
- FORGE UPDATES: Two new Forge palettes are on the way, including Flood-infected objects.
- BTB HEAVIES REFRESH: New maps coming to this existing playlist the week after Banished Honor launches.
Can’t believe it took over 2 years for the plasma pistol to gain the ability to emp vehicles again, that’s been a thing in every halo game since 3
Yeah, I understand that they didn’t want to take away one of the only extra abilities of the electric weapons in Infinite, but it is such a core Halo thing that people are still surprised when they try it and it doesn’t work
Shock weapons should’ve done some kind of overcharge thing, like forcing a warthog to go at max speed for a few seconds. Keep the plasma pistol as it is and given them a new ability. Hopefully if Halo 7 has shock weapons they’ll have a more unique ability like that but we’re a good while away from that
Basically making the breaks not work and go a little faster could be hilarious
The best part would be if you could do it to teammates too so it can be used against you or for your benefit like running the flag back to base.
