This sounds great! But what is physically stopping the thief to just remove the sticker? Is it commonly known that a bike without a sticker is not trustworthy?

Even then, just tear of the sticker and request a new one?

      From https://mybike.belgium.be/:

De sticker is bijzonder moeilijk te verwijderen en UV- en weersbestendig.

Il est particulièrement résistant à l’arrachage, aux UV et aux intempéries.

So I’m guessing the best protection is parking your bike with a sticker next to bikes without one.

I think the idea is that anyone could scan the sticker and check if the bike is flagged as stolen. Left over sticker material would be a huge tell something is off.

Placing a second sticker over the first though…
