You claim to be a conservative. You are in the US. This is the position of the GOP, which is the largest political party representing conservatism. Hence, the definition of a conservative is set by the GOP. The above positions are held by all factions in the GOP (except for Jan 6th).

Imagine saying “I’m a Nazi” and then asking for quotes for when you said “gas the Jews”.

You don’t get to define my views. Either I said it or I didn’t. Otherwise you are building a straw man argument.

But I do. U said so yourself that you are a conservative. In the American context, this is what a conservative means. I can’t be a Nazi and say “we must seize means of production”. Words have meanings.

You can say conservatives say something. It may be hyperbole but it’s fine. When you say I did something, you need proof of that. Otherwise it’s a strawman argument.

Unlike liberals, conservatives are not a monolithic group.

Liberals aren’t a monolithic group either.

In fact, I wouldn’t lump actual Liberals (as in support the philosophy of Liberalism, as espoused by liberal thinkers 200 years ago) with Leftists or Progressives.

And that’s fair. We need to say liberal when we mean leftist or progressive. I will try to clean up my language
