You can say conservatives say something. It may be hyperbole but it’s fine. When you say I did something, you need proof of that. Otherwise it’s a strawman argument.
Unlike liberals, conservatives are not a monolithic group.
Liberals aren’t a monolithic group either.
In fact, I wouldn’t lump actual Liberals (as in support the philosophy of Liberalism, as espoused by liberal thinkers 200 years ago) with Leftists or Progressives.
And that’s fair. We need to say liberal when we mean leftist or progressive. I will try to clean up my language
