Good morning, I’m the administrator of the friendica poliverso.org instance. I am writing to you because, with the username informapirata, I opened a community/sublemmy (poliverso) and I started doing several tests to probe the readability and interaction from my friend instance and from my mastodon account @informapirata@mastodon.uno . Unfortunately I noticed that with friendica I can’t send messages from poliverso.org, while I can send them easily from the twin instance (same server, same system engineer and same configuration) friends.polli.social. I wanted to ask you the courtesy to give me some suggestions or some ideas to help me solve this problem. A greeting, Macfranc
Did you do the same actions from both instances? For now, Lemmy can only handle

is a post with a title.I think I understand the problem: it is not a question of federation, but a problem related to the “type of account” in Friendica
@Informapirata BTW: Lemmy only allows posts with titles. So when opening a new thread be aware to write something into the title field.
You were right to remember, thanks, but the problem in question concerned the response from a Friendica user to a post published by a Lemmy user; and not the publication of a new Lemmy post by a Friendica user.
@Informapirata AFAIK Lemmy can have positive lists for the servers that are allowed to interact. Also I recommend to use the latest Friendica (development branch) since we did some changes there.
Certainly. In any case, the Poliverse instance and the polli.social instance are both updated to the latest version released.
