    I’ve never heard of Harley Benton until now lol. How does this model compare to its squier/fender counterparts?

      I would say it’s on par with a modem “squier affinity” bass, which are also very impressive for the price. Back in my day (let’s say, 15 years ago), Squiers were crap compared to today’s every level instruments.

      I would gig with this bass any time.

        I think there was a change in the late 00s. At least beginning with vintage modified, Squier became very gigable

    Harley Benton stuff is dope. If I ever feel like picking up a new instrument just to mess around with, I’ll look at them first. And that’s why I have an acoustic fretless bass I can barely play sitting in my living room 🤗
