Back in my day (let’s say, 15 years ago), Squiers were crap compared to today’s every level instruments. I would gig with this bass any time.

I would say it’s on par with a modem “squier affinity” bass, which are also very impressive for the price. Back in my day (let’s say, 15 years ago), Squiers were crap compared to today’s every level instruments.
I would gig with this bass any time.
