Maybe I shouldn’t be as pissed as I am but, for me, I like using my Apple card for autopay because I get 3% back with T-Mobile charges. What I like to do is use my CCs to max my rewards / cash back and then pay off my card each month.

Maybe I’m overreacting, but I’m not happy about this. Of course I don’t want to pay an additional $40 a month on my phone bill so yes, I’m switching autopay to a Privacy card, but F—, man.

Okay, I’m done lol

This is an outrageous change. They’ve had so many data breaches and now they want bank account information 😠

Can’t wait for electronic payments to be free and facilitated by the government. After working as a developer for a few banks and seeing all of the absolutely bullshit charges they tack into payments in order to not only make businesses pay them more but also to make customers pay more I can firmly say that we pay banks way too much simply for facilitating transactions.

Ha! and you think things are bad now? Putting anything in governmyth hands is a quick road to disaster. I totally agree we need to get rid of the banks, but giving any responsability to the governmyth is the wrong way to handle it. Crypto is better because people can be their own banks and if they screw up and lose their money they have nobody to blame but themselves. Maybe next time they will keep better track of things they control

A major difference with crypto is that now you must trust the people to handle their own security and privacy measures - which we have seen is not reliable. The general laymen would be unable to handle their own crypto wallet securely and we’d likely be in far worse shape than we are today. I get the sentiment that fiat is bad and blockchain tech is good, but people are just plain dumb at the end of the day.
