Satellite images of the consequences of the attack on the airfield of the Lugansk Aviation School

A satellite image from May 28 shows traces of a large fire, a video of which local telegram channels published the day before. The fire site is located north of the runway. In a photograph of the same place taken on May 10, you can see parts of the Nebo-M radar complex, designed to detect aerodynamic and ballistic objects at medium and high altitudes. Local authorities claimed that the fire occurred “in the area of infrastructure facilities of the former Higher Military Aviation School of Navigators.”

The video , which was presumably filmed shortly after the Ukrainian strike on the airfield of the Lugansk aviation school, shows the command vehicle of the Nebo-M radar complex, KU-RLK. This may mean that the radar was in place and deployed at the time of the strike.
