Slovakia’s populist prime minister, Robert Fico, has reportedly been injured in a shooting and taken to hospital.
Then incident occurred after a Slovak government meeting at a location outside Bratislava, news agency TASR reported on Wednesday, without giving further details.
I am not surprised, they (ruling party) bank on polarizing people, attacking journalists and populism/prorussian reathorics.
I just listened to their press conference and they just pour gasoline on this situation. Like I nearly vomited hearing the accusations of journalists, opposition parties…
There are many politicians who are going to profit from this event, for sure.
The occasion to ban opposition parties, censor non-aligned press and furtherly restrict people’s freedom is too perfect to be missed.
Yeah sure but they just don’t realize how bad the situation is. I think that this isn’t what’s gonna happen.
Slovak politics is insane from mafia killing journalists to prime Minister throwing bananas on politicians because they behave like monkeys.

Figured it must’ve been Matovic. Also tracks this was before he was PM, I’m sure I wouldn’t have missed it otherwise.
I think it was part of podcast Vlevo Dole where it was like quiz - what Matovic didn’t do in function. It was hard because all of the options sounded similarly insane.
I guess you must be right. Probably, outsiders ( like me) can’t phantom what’s really going on…
