    Whether guns, cars, or sodas, manufacturers have always had the power and responsibility to control who sells their products.

    Otherwise you get a bunch of fly by night sellers with no responsibility.

      In this instance, how do they know who is selling illegally and who isn’t, especially since the sales are all technically to legal adults who can purchase firearms. This is not the manufacturers responsibility to sort out.

        Automakers do this just fine.

          There is not a similar kind of sale in automakers, like the article says every sale is technically legal to someone who can legally purchase the firearm. Gary got on too high of a horse going after manufacturers and now it’s crashing down around them.
