minus-square@_edlink2•edit-22 years agoIt might be a good thing if upvotes/downvotes were public… e.g. hover over arrow to view. Might also prompt people to add a comment around why they agree or disagree if their id was associated with an action.
minus-squareDanlinkfedilink4•2 years agoReddit found that this makes it easy for bots to spam votes – you can’t shadowban them as effectively. Reddit also has some method for metering votes you make directly from a user’s profile. You have to click on the post/comment to actually vote on it.
