I guess Wenner is such a fan of these guys that he’s lost all perspective. I mean, I’m a big Stones fan myself, and I think Mick Jagger is pretty clearly a smart guy, but a philosopher?
he rates pretty high on the egotistical level though… his picks are pretty solid on that scale as well… maybe that’s really what he’s exploring… the ego of rock… Marvin and Joni and Janis don’t share in that trip…
