Tbf I once looked seriously at a house with a giant garage because I wanted to turn it into a huge hobby and rpg space.

The largest source of emissions in the US is personal vehicles. We are car obsessed. I post a building thats more car storage than home and everyone here wants it. Bigger, louder, more roads, more parking.

No, the largest source is transportation. That includes personal vehicles but also trucks, ships, trains and aeroplanes.

Personal vehicles make up the bulk of that. Its like saying Mississippi doesnt have the highest rate of obesity because US has more.

Sure. So 30% of emissions are due to transportation and about half of that is private vehicles. That makes the emissions caused by private vehicles to be about 15% of the total number.

Not insignificant but not quite the whole story either. Wouldn’t still go as far as to say it’s the “largest source”
