I actually tried to get it to stop this one time by telling it to wait for me to instruct it to do something. I wanted to feed it a bunch of stuff first and then tell it what to do with that info. GPT replied with something like “Of course! I’ll wait for you to instruct me.” It then proceeded to reply to every single thing I gave it. Infuriating.
