Sad for all the people who voted no to protect their skill cape, guess they’ll have to get good at something without using 15 years of optimization distilled into the wiki as a crutch for once.

I’m so happy it passed. It was so close to failing. The cutoff was 70% I think and the final vote got 73% or close to that.

The videos the dev team put out for sailing made it seem enjoyable as hell.

I just really miss the excitement when a new skill came out in RuneScape. The release of carpentry was such a fun time as even mostly empty houses were fun to show off as everything was new to us. Can’t wait to see the huge amount of players swarm the ports when it comes out.

I have such a hard time understanding why anyone would vote no to it tbh. I was very anti-sailing at first, I wanted shamanism and taming more. When sailing beat out those two I just watched every video and Q&A the dev team put out to understand the skill more and it made me realize the dev team is gonna make this an incredible product for us. We are seriously so fortunate to have such a passionate and talented dev team behind this game. I am beyond excited to see what they do with this.

Iam still anti sailing, I too have watched all the videos and q&a. For me, it just doesn’t look that fun, if I wanted to sail around, I would play assassin’s Creed black flag or something similar. But I still hope, they can make it into a fun skill that I enjoy.

I, like you, really liked shamanism! It just looked like it would fit in way better, and I really liked the concept of it!
