Just looking at it from the outside, this appears pretty flimsy and not very wind-proof to me. I’d expect that rectangular form factor to behave like a sail in tough weather.
As a hexagon with a dome, it should mitigate wind more than a conventional rectangular tent since there is less surface area in any one direction to catch the wind.
