The Toyota JPN Taxi provided the best (taxi) riding experience among the experiences I have. It is a vehicle designed to be comfortably accompany passengers. The large headroom and comfortable seating is never seen on other taxi (or even most private vehicle).
On the other hand, driving experience may not be too positive. Some drivers say that it is like driving a runabout, and the use of wing-mounted mirror instead of A-pillar create more blind spot.
Rumor says that the use of wing-mounted mirror is to (when Toyota designing) prevent driver looking at the passenger when he look at the mirror during switching lanes. But I disagree as you still have to look for blind spot during switching lanes, which give you chance to look at the passenger.

Also, the gear shift design make driver accidentally go into neutral more likely. Due to the fact that handbrake is located at the foot panel, some drivers prefer to shift to parking gear instead of handbrake when stopping. So, sometime driver may shift to neutral accidentally when start to move. (thats not a great habit to use parking gear instead of handbrake, anyway)
And the lack of cuisine control make driving long-distance less comfortable. Another rumor says that Toyota thought a professional taxi driver don’t need cuisine control when designing, but I disagree.
Why do I know so much? That’s a secret.
