Sorry bud, it’s been around since like the early-mid 2010’s. It was definitely inspired by winamp, though they’ve been incorporating elements from the animated League of Legends main menu screens. In this decade we have a program that will take community-made visualizers and project them onto your desktop background, so it’s basically come full circle
