I really dig the artwork! Are there more surrealist/absurd cards? (Given the sheer numbers, I’m guessing yes)

Certainly, but it’s finding them that’s the hard part!

Scryfall does have tags for Surreal/Surrealism, but it hardly feels complete. I’m also not sure if MC Escher-inspired cards count as surrealism, but if so that would include things like Bootlegger’s Stash.

A lot of the art on the Duskmourn Archenemy cards play around in a similar space.

Another plane we’ve only seen on 2 cards also has some reality bending art

Lastly a lot of individual mill cards seem to have pretty surreal art, like Tome Scour, Millstone, Fraying Sanity, Sweet Oblivion, Mystic Redaction, or Fractured Sanity

        Nice finds, Thanks!

I didn’t realize that scryfall had art filters as well. Still seems to find quite a few.

What’s the story of these Scheme cards? They don’t seem to be legal anywhere.

Ohh this is interesting! A pattern emerges. The og millstone too.

Scheme cards are a special type of card for Archenemy format. Originally a variant of 60 card formats they brought it back as a Commander variant in the Duskmourn commander decks. Similar to how the Dr. Who and March of the Machine commander decks brought back Planechase
