I browse different lemmy instances usually because the feed is always different. Was blown away when I recently went to lemmy.today, no clue when they did the change but whoever is in charge of the design has my admiration! (chef’s kiss)

    A while back I made a spoof account called Universal Crunk. It used his same avatar but photoshopped to be flashing cash in front of the Raytheon HQ, wearing Ray-Bans and a Yankees hat, and smoking crack; the profile bio was the standard one he uses but his the language was changed to be praise of crypto, defense contractors, and hedge funds. I made one comment and within about 2 minutes it was nuked.

      So you are admitting you created a troll account, just to troll me. Trolling is not allowed on most instances.

      Is it really fair to call me a troll for advocating third parties, when people like you actually troll just because you disagree with what I say? Think about that.

      To the mods : I’m not replying as ban evasion, it’s just that this thread devolved into people accusing me of stuff that is incorrect. I do not post to lemmy.world because I’m banned and I respect that ban, but this thread brings up some interesting points that I think are worth discussions. Such as people creating accounts just to troll me (as this user just admitted), then pushing the narrative that I am a troll. If I get banned for evasion, can you at least leave my 2 comments up since I think it’s an important lesson in how Lemmy has evolved and changed over time?

        Making fun of you to your face by mocking you isn’t trolling, it’s more of an uncivil direct insult. Also, reported for ban evasion.

          I left a note in my comment to the mods about the ban evasion. I’m sure they will ban me, and that is their right. But I am only responding to people bringing me up. I don’t normally post here. But this is probably does count as a ban evasion and I shouldn’t have replied, but you did admit to creating an account to troll/mock me. So I can accept the ban from them.

          Also, you had an alt account banned, because you were trolling me, so you should be reported for ban evasion. You said yourself the alt account was banned. I’ll be sure to let the mods know that too.

          But before I get banned, why don’t ya let us all know why you were making fun of me? Why you even went so far as to make a troll account?

          Tell the world why that is. And remember, my post history is public, so let’s put it out there. Why are you so angry? And why did you create a troll account just to mock me? What is your reasoning behind that?

              Yeah, I get it. Since my entire post history is public, it’s pretty silly to continue to push a false narrative that I’m right-wing.

              Tell me tho, if I were right-wing, why would the majority of my THOUSANDS of posts be pro-left/pro-socialist/anti-Trump? Don’t ya think that me posting thousands of pro-socialist articles would be a pretty silly way of promoting Trump? Don’t ya think that me having, moding, and contributing to pro-socialist communities would be a pretty silly way of promoting Trump? Especially on a left-leaning platform like Lemmy. Especially since he’s already been elected? And I still post pro-socialist articles to Socialist communities daily.

              And a lot of that hate back then, even when I pointed out my socialist stuff, everyone said, “Oh Universal Monk will disappear after the election! He’s a russian operative! Just watch!” You remember that, right? Sure you do. Yet, here I am. Hmmmm…

              So I’m still here, still posting DAILY pro-socialist articles, years after the election. And you are so annoyed by that, that you decided to create a Universal Crunk troll account to mock me.

              But yet you refuse to say why. I mean, if you are sooo convinced I am a Trump supporter, then you should have plenty of proof and evidence, right? So let’s see it. If you don’t think I’m a Trump supporter, then why did you create a Universal Crunk alt to mock/troll me?

              Unless…wait a minute…unless maybe…just maybe…you don’t support socialist/left causes. Ok, that’s ok. No harm. But why don’t you just admit that? Why are you afraid to admit what you are doing? Be proud man, stand up for yourself!

              By the way, do you realize that creating accounts just to troll someone is against many instance rules?

              You know, you could just admit that you got caught up on the hate-train, and now with some retrospection, you realize that I’ve always been a socialist. And that back at that time, it was rare to have someone speak out against the Duopoly.

              Not so uncommon for that to happen now. You and many others were wrong about me back then. Nothing I said back then would even raise an eyebrow now or be considered controversial. People say that both Democrats and Republicans suck, every single day on Lemmy now. That’s just a fact.
