    Why wear special clothing to avoid the splatter when you can just not get splatter on you

      I take the same approach to software development. Why waste time debugging when you can simply not write any bugs in the first place? Mystified how nobody else ever thought of this before.

            I mean yeah it is an option but wearing special clothes for the splashes doesn’t seem as necessary when you can just do a simple thing to avoid the splashes

              An apron is a very simple item that simply goes over the clothes and secures with a single, simple tie

                    Well yeah those are the options. Use special clothiny for the splatters or just don’t have the splatters. Second seems simpler imo

        I mean if you replace “not write bugs” with “write tests”, this becomes a good metaphor
