I’ve been using Openboard as my keyboard since 2020, and I’m pleased with it. However, I’ve noticed that the latest update was back in August 2022. Does this mean it’s deprecated?
Are there any other simple FOSS Android keyboards that you have experience with and can recommend? I’d love to hear it!

Any good recommendations for FOSS keyboards with Swype-like functionality? Literally the only thing keeping me attached to GBoard…
Yeah the swipe and multi-lingual input is the only thing keeping me on GBoard. I would love to not have all my keyboard interractions be recorded but… yeah these features are just too good to pass on
Florisboard has a swipe feature, it’s pretty early in development and definitely not perfect but it gets the job done for me!
