The commission, in a report submitted to the chief of Bangladesh’s interim government Muhammad Yunus, recommended that three principles “secularism”, “socialism” and “nationalism” be replaced with “equality”, “human dignity”, “social justice” and “pluralism”.
I don’t think that’s necessary for social justice, pluralism and other things they’re supposedly striving for. I’d rather be ruled by Christian Democrats (as in compassionate political ideology which has analogues in Muslim world) than some kind of secular market libertarians (who can be conservative atheists like in Czech Republic or Netherlands) because that’s much closer to fascism in the end (inb4 „but you can smoke weed there”).
