    I wish I could have been there so I could also film a shitty version on my phone, rather than experiencing it.

      Don’t worry. You clearly would’ve been too focused on how everyone else wasn’t “watching correctly” and wouldn’t have enjoyed it anyhow.

          I’ve been in that situation. The feeling was a bit hollow, and came with it’s own regrets. As it turns out, we record things for a reason.

          Fifteen years ago, I didn’t record my favorite song being played live and now I can’t find a video of it because, believe it or not, there isn’t a record of every single live performance on earth ever. I’ve listened to other performances from the same tour, but it isn’t the same as what I heard. That’s the nature of live music, though.

          This event isn’t the same, I get that. Just sharing my experience from when I also held this opinion.

      Oh God, one of my hands will be in use. I’ll definitely never be able to muster up the coordination to keep my eyes open while I hold a phone up! Never!
