Can I delete previous backups, without affecting following backups, Since TimeShift (RSync) make increamental backups.

I’m not sure about the links but I’ve been using timeshift for awhile and my first backup is long gone. Please note that I’ve been using the GUI to delete them, I wouldn’t delete them manually.
