Geek, gamer, reader, fangirl. Sometimes I write things. She/her
I read Under the Whispering Door not too long ago, so I think I know exactly what you mean. 🙂
Currently, Leviathan Falls, the last book in The Expanse series. I’m a little over halfway through. Which is a little bittersweet, since I’ve loved this series for a long time now, and I want to know how it ends… but also kinda don’t want it to end.
Not sure what’ll be next up, but probably one of Babel, The Kaiju Preservation Society, or The House in the Cerulean Sea, depending on my mood.
It’s on my list! I’ve only actually read a few of his so far (the Dogs of War duology, Ogres, and Walking to Aldebaran - plus a couple of short stories somewhere along the line), but have loved them all, so I definitely want to read more!
Yep, as a slow reader myself, it’s both amazing and a little frustrating that he writes way faster than I could keep up with!
But that’s a good problem to have, so I’m not complaining. (Much.)
I see what you did there 👏🏻😁
This series is so good. I loved the books, and was hoping the series would be a good adaptation. So far, it’s more than exceeded my expectations.
I believe you can also watch the first episode free on Apple TV itself, if you want to avoid Twitter.
I want to read Translation State, I’ve loved Ann Leckie’s other books. But I have a bunch of other books ahead of it on my TBR.
Several of which are Adrian Tchaikovsky books, as it happens!
Right now I’m reading the last book in The Expanse series, Leviathan Falls. (I know, I’m late getting round to it.)
Babylon 5, Farscape, 12 Monkeys, Timeless, Warehouse 13 & Eureka, Fringe, Dark Matter, Killjoys.
And right now, Silo.
(And The Expanse of course, but has been mentioned many times already!)
I loved that show, so that’s at least two of us 😁
Barrage Rogue, but I’m just playing casually - still working my way through the campaign, and once I’ve finished that I’ll likely be trying out some other classes. I’m in no rush. 🙂
Looks grey to me too. Nice find. 🙂
(Can’t help about the image thing, sorry.)
For some reason, I read that as The Apostle of Memory… which would also be a cool name! But yeah, I wouldn’t have changed that name either.
Both! I ran the expedition twice.
