I agree with most others discussing here - give it time and people will talk about something else. It’s just fresh on everybody’s mind. I already see content in my feeds shifting to be primarily about other stuff. Yes a lot of meta discussion, but less so than yesterday or the day before. There’s that one guy who needed to stop pooping for 3 days straight for instance (and that was fucking hilarious).
I’m tempted to post a nsfw pic with both my penis and breasts visible at the same time to r/mildlyinteresting or something. It’d be funny, like “oh hey this is what a penis looks like when your estrogen levels are above 200 how mildly interesting”. It would increase engagement, (engagement that reddit cannot monitize), but more importantly, it’d be funny
kbin has a sweet community search tool that not only searches kbin magazines, but also Lemmy communities and even Mastodon groups. This means you can easily find communities all across the #Fediverse for any of your interests.
This convinced me to switch to kbin from lemmy. Looks like it has a better “sort-by-hot” functionality too far as I can tell.
The nice thing is, I can always switch back, no cost to me
If all the unpaid moderators quit and get replaced by paid moderators - that would be a win for workers rights, yeah?
