Sway is more of an i3 clone. I used to use xmonad, but recently I have been using river with wayland. It has similar defaults to xmonad, also being a dwm clone

Recently I have been using river. It’s extremely easy to configure via a shell script, and it’s very fast and stable. It’s another dwm clone

It’s a lot of work, but having a matching ID is very convenient. And if someone asks for my deadname, I can tell them “I don’t know anyone by that name”
