Spirit of the Machine be with you, hacker. https://analognowhere.com
There also were a few mentions of penguin techno-mages of the Slack clan.
They grow weary so fast…

Happy to see this mentioned here. RantMedia basically invented the whole idea of podcasts before the term even existed and they played a major role in establishing the hacker sub-culture. AFAIK their online radio ran basically non-stop for 20 years until 2019.
Patrolling with Sean Kennedy (both seasons) is on archive.org and still worth a watch today. Some of his tips are still applicable, (to this day I still go by his sanitize your products, you’re not getting paid to promote a brand) and the rest just makes you sad, seeing how things changed over the decades.
Sometimes I wonder where the fucking man
ended up. I know he wrote a few books but basically disappeared from the internet in the 2010s.
WHERE ARE THE RESULTS?!
If you’ve stuck around this community for a while, you may know me as a broke content creator, who will ask for your support from time to time.
However this time, I’d like to acknowledge the work that SDF has been doing and ask you to consider supporting them instead. Without SDF there would be no SDF lemmy and no unix_surrealism community.
I’ll decide whether I’m mad about this after the results come in.
I heard one can get a youtube diamond play button, if they manage to get banned on 3/4 of the services in under 42 minutes.
afaik only this particular Penguin is a techno-mage, the other `free penguins’ who are not subjects of the GovCorp are basically just scraping by.
no worries!
these three issues (in no particular order) somewhat explain the fate of the non-free penguins

some. This particular Penguin is a free penguin.
of course not https://sdf.org/store/
blessed be your devices, hacker
I just want you to know that if Funhole doesn’t win, I’ll be there on January 7th to help the funholians paint a Brank mural on the Washington memorial.
Just finished chanting “S.D.F. come back” while kneeling inside a pentagram surrounded by stickers and magnetic tapes. Pretty good overall.
Thank you for doing your part!
sozz, didn’t feel website worthy
