This is what Europe should propose to Putin. Russia will withdraw from all land it seized from Ukraine after the 2022 invasion. NATO would be dissolved and replaced with a European alliance. Ukraine and Canada would be permitted to join but not the US. All sanctions against Russia will be lifted. Russia will not be required to pay reparations. If Putin doesn’t accept the proposal, the UK and France would send troops to Ukraine.

Possible reforms I can think of are limit Supreme Court judges to 6 year terms. After that they would have to be reappointed. The President cannot issue pardons. Non-Supreme Court judges would be appointed by a bipartisan congressional committee which would choose a pool of candidates for a certain position. From that pool one would be chosen randomly. Congress must approve of all military action. The exception is when an immediate response is required. Then congressional approval would be required ASAP.

Russia, China, and the EU should get together and negotiate a deal with Iran. They could offer a different perspective, and Iran trusts them more. If they negotiate a deal, it will put pressure on Trump to follow.

Congress should have a committee of scholars convene and propose laws that would balance the powers of the executive, legislative, and judicial branches. I don’t understand Allen’s attack plan. After he rushed past the screening station, he would have to climb up some stairs to get to the floor where the ballroom was. All this while under fire. Hearing the commotion, the Secret Service would have closed the ballroom doors. If Allen somehow made it up the stairs, how would he have opened the ballroom doors?

I hope that after the war, Ukraine gives them credit unlike the French who did not honor the Algerians, Moroccans, and Senegalese tirailleurs who fought for them in World War II.
