Does Missket connect with Bluesky? Some of my friends moved over there, but I don’t like using Bluesky itself.
I checked out some instances and it seems that most have a really specific user base. Are there more general instances like .world?
I think you’re underestimating the size of the castle complex; there are multiple buildings within the walls. Also, they’re expensive to build, maintain and use, so it’s not that weird to keep things compact.
Yeah, even in the Randstad, for distances up to like 15 km it’s often faster to cycle somewhere than take public transport.
Not a game, but I think it fits the general theme: DragonBall Z Abridged. +/- 10 minute shorts abridgeing (and parodying) DragonBall Z. I never watched the real show, but I think they’re hilarious.
“Mastadon”
I 've seen that spelling before, but I wonder what’s so hard about the name.
I’m working on losing a few kgs for playing sports, so I’m trying to make changes that are sustainable for the rest of my life. E.g. quark and granola instead of bread for breakfast, and no more snacks in between meals (RIP stroopwafels).
That way I only need to change habits once instead of multiple times like when you’re dieting, and the effect is slow but noticeable.
Thanks! I guess they found it elsewhere :P
Do you know the source? I really like how intense the poses are.
I just switched from Sync to Boost because of the lack if updates. The interface is slightly different, but you get used to that after a day. The only thing I really miss is opening image previews by long-pressing.
I’ve trained calisthenics, plyometrics and power yoga at home for years and I’m very happy with the results. Just search on Youtube for advice and workouts you like. Use your common sense: look for people focusing on tried-and-true ideas and don’t use performance enhancing drugs.
My favorite channels are Athlean-X, Calisthenicmovement, The Stone Circle and Breathe and Flow.
Also, get a mirror or film yourself to check your form, or have someone watch you. After a while, you’ll start feeling whether something is right or wrong, but at the start it’s useful to have a visual check.
You can also check out www.boekwinkeltjes.nl for used books. Marktplaats is good for old DVDs etc.
Nah, it can happen. I tend to look rather gloomy, so I need to remind myself to smile when looking at my wife, otherwise she’ll think I’m angry with her when I’m just thinking about stuff.
Here is an example of such a workout: Athlean-X - The Perfect PUSH-UP Workout (3 LEVELS)
StarCraft 2 was the perfect competitive RTS, with the best pro scene. I lived and breathed that game for years. Sucks that Blizzard decided to stop supporting it.
Dragon Ball Z Abridged
If you like reading older books, check out https://standardebooks.org/. They make nice digital editions of public domain works for free.
Also, don’t underestimate the power of teenagers to be obsessed with really weird stuff.
Nit Canadian, but there’s a typo in your post title, the “s” in “is” is missing :)
To add: you’re both very young and you both have a lot of personal stuff to deal with. Karl’s not going to be a perfect adult every time he expresses his emotions (or doesn’t when he should), and you probably won’t be either. That’s okay.
Just be aware that if you want to be emotionally and romantically involved with each other, there will be some drama as well, and you need to decide for yourself whether you can deal with that. It’s perfectly fine to feel that this is too much for you right now and you need to keep some distance.
You don’t have to talk to him about this if you don’t want to. Just be a friend and don’t be afraid to set boundaries.
