Good to know, thanks!
Which Linux distro are you using? I’m considering switching over somewhere this year, but I’m not sure which distro would be best for gaming + regular user stuff.
You can use Firefox for Android with Ublock Origin to visit Youtube. (Remove the Youtube app so your phone will ask you how to open Youtube links and point it towards Firefox.) It’s not ideal, but better than seeing ads all the time.
Block them or move to another platform. I block everyone on Facebook who feels the need to make negative comments, regardless of whether I expect to encounter them again. Really cleans up the place.
In my experience as a metalhead, punks want to look tough and flashy: spikes, strong colours, sturdy clothes, etc.
Metalheads want to look epic like Legolas (or, in the case if black metal, angry Legolas).
As said, thrift shops will have lots of stuff that fit either profile, or both. Just think about what you want your character to be like and have fun! There’s no fashion police, so you can’t really mess up.
Besides, lots of metalheads wear kilts to concerts and festivals, so that’s a good start. Add a black shirt and black boots and you’re done with the basic look.
Yeah, I remember everyone recommending K-Lite codec pack. But it didn’t work for me, so I used the Combined Community Codec Pack.
Gelukkig nieuwjaar!
Can’f you use dumbbells with a neutral grip instead of barbells? Stuff like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EFbifMHOXPc
They allow for greater ROM and you can use a heavier one for your healthy wrist.
Tendons and the like are always slow to heal. As long as your PT likes the progress, I.guess you’ll have to wait it out.
Edit: on the other hand, they don’t need to be fully healed to resume training, as long as you’re taking it slowly. You could ask your PT for (alternative) exercises you can already resume doing.
Almost forgot: The Pillars of the Earth is a great adventure game, following a number of medieval people throughout their lives, in the context of the building of a cathedral. It’s on sale at GOG right now: https://www.gog.com/en/game/ken_folletts_the_pillars_of_the_earth_season_pass
Four Last Things has two sequels. I haven’t gotten around to the last game yet, but I really enjoyed the first two. They’re puzzle games trying yo get as many fart jokes out of Renaissance paintings as possible.
There’s a sale going on on the entire bundle, including a fun earlier game by the same guy: https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/47089/The_Games_by_Joe_Richardson_Bundle/
They should focus more on getting people into their other games, like TFT and LoR. Those are way more accessible and lend themselves well for tie-ins, but I never see any promo for them. LoR is even on life support, but it’s the perfect game for people who are interested in the Runeterra universe and want a laidback 1v1 game.
Maybe he is the original photographer and he just found this pic on an old computer after not using the internet for ten years.
Also, newspapers are still around. I’ve subscribed to one, but I only read it when I have the time and energy to do so. Its online archives are always available if I want to catch up later.
