  • keep in mind, all of these articles are coming from people who spent the last three decades crucifying and slaughtering muslims and black people, millions of them dead, most of them innocent, all of these crimes the nazis are guilty of ten fold and worse. they don’t care about muslims, they want a war with china because they turned globalism into a war they can’t win.

    they’re stupid fucking nazis

  • getting really tired of these linear models and scales. people are ending up so worried about which is /more/ invasive or /worse/ for privacy and it just makes a lot of noise that doesn’t really help anyone and doesn’t give a good picture of whats happening.

the modern business model of these corporations is just to funnel data to threat actors. that’s all they do, from any major social media platform, to any provided service, they’re just malware now funneling data to threat actors. there’s no way to guarantee where that information goes or what its used for.

its not really worth pointing out which is the biggest funnel for data to threat actors, its just understanding that they are funnels for data going to threat actors

  • comes down to your own personal needs and how you maintain opsec. matrix is a great option for privacy if you host your own server. joining an instance might be less reliable for stringent security needs and concerns about specific attack vectors. the encrypted chat they have is good regardless, and its a better option than signal or many other chat/messaging protocols. matrix servers do a lot, its a decentralized protocol.

be real about your security needs and outline them. what are attack vectors you are concerned about? what are you trying to keep safe? what threat actors are you concerned about? answering these types of questions will help you outline your needs and choose/use technology which meets those needs
