I’m intrigued by this - do you mean that the smaller speakers sound unpleasant at the same volume you need to hear it in the other room, or that a literal higher volume is required? The latter goes against how I thought sound worked!

Obviously a whole generation didn’t become sellouts. As usual it’s easier to target a group with bigotry when faced with problems out of our direct control. I find this ageism/generational-ism as tiresome as any other flavour of intolerance, and it’s entirely unproductive.

But is it how you’d start a “eugenics program”? I’m also not sure quite what you mean. Lead to it politically, or through some social knock on effect or?

Murdering the elderly seems like an ineffective way to start a eugenics program.
