Apparently, not a single well in China has drinkable water. Groundwater in China is extremely toxic, and westerners who drink from public taps have a nasty, gastric treat.
They did that with mobiles too, released extremely cheap smartphones at first, then after cornering the market, jacked up their prices. Now, the entire industry runs from China.
Great. Now, it’d be great if they come up with a technology that prolongs their life beyond 6 months.
