I believe that’s a myth, though I understand the font used was a rip off of a licensed font. Which is just as funny.

Pen & Paper, or Paper & Pencil I would wager.

There was just an article about Godot being swamped by AI vibe code so I don’t know if I’d hold my breath.

I switched to Gamers Nexus a few years ago and really liked the format versus what I was mostly watching at the time, which was largely but not only LTT.
I have pretty much entirely stopped watching Gamers Nexus now though. Even if I agree with a lot of what he says, the way in which he says it has gone from cathartic to too much. I’m not entirely sure when, but it’s past the point of enjoyment for me.

Even still, having this on your CV doesn’t look great.

Oh man the steamdb chart for this game is brutal.
I was massively underwhelmed by this trailer at the Game Awards, but that’s not particularly surprising to me because I’m personally not a fan of hero shooters, or frankly even PvP in general these days.
But it still hurts to see something like this. As a very creative person, it would crush my soul to work hard on something that got memed so hard to death. And of course, it affects their livelihoods as well.

The setup I have does require a domain name, yes. I DNS challenge through cloudflare at the moment to get a wildcard cert for *.domain.tld and use that for my local services, including my modem, to serve with https.

I don’t have anything to help you, other than to say you’re probably onto it being something specific about your router wanting more info from the reverse proxy. I have an actiontec modem I proxy behind nginx proxy manager and it works fine without any additional configuration, though.
What I really wanted to comment on was my surprise that everyone in a self hosting community assumed you were exposing that to the public when you absolutely did not say anything that implied it. Do none of you reverse proxy your local services? It’s wonderful!
Edited to add: actually, what cert are you using? I recently switched to a wildcard cert via DNS challenge from Let’s Encrypt and everything has worked better since then.

Preaching to the choir mate, I cancelled the majority of my subscriptions and self host as much as I can.

I have put hundreds and hundreds, probably thousands, of hours into the OG. I own it across multiple releases and consoles. I have maxed out the in game timer. I’m certain I’m not the world’s biggest fan, but suffice it to say, I love the game.
I think the remakes have been spectacular and I cannot friggin wait for the (hopefully) last one. I will probably replay all of them in preparation.

Just standard enshittification, no need to copy homework.

I agree in principle but “rent nothing” is an absolute that millions of people without the down payment for a house cannot get behind.

I actually think there is some value in the way YT is trying to do it versus other streamer sites. Most are not available to you at all for free, even with ads. And then you can pay, but get ads, or you can pay more to get no ads (or still get some, in the case of like Prime Video that serves ads for their own shows but don’t call those ads for some reason).
This is not a recommendation for it, to be clear.

For what it’s worth, I used a VPN on my Premium account many times over several years and never got banned, or even a warning. I would specifically use it to watch videos that were not normally available in my region.

A cheaper tier than Premium that offers fewer features. Along with this, there’s still some ads.

I like horror but definitely prefer fantasy. I’ll have to give her another shot but I was really disappointed with Hollow Places.

Are you sure they don’t have Premium Lite?
