Nothing works so I try to just avoid or ignore it, or go to sleep if it gets too intense. Medication and therapy just aren’t effective for me unfortunately.

There’s plenty of different ones to try. Go to your doctor and see if they can put you on something else. You don’t want to quit cold turkey, that’s a rough experience.

Musical talent. I’d love to be able to sing and play guitar but I have no aptitude for it at all.

My dad was abusive, and after reflecting on it for a while I ended up cutting off all contact 10 years ago. Best decision I ever made.

I spend enough time at work during the day, I’m not letting some manager take my sleep from me too. Fuck that.

Happened with Mastodon too, but that’s thriving now. Users come in waves. Don’t focus on the numbers, focus on the content.
