Obsidian dev’s original project Dynalist is an outline based notes app that does have tags. She doesn’t update it anymore but I still rely heavily on it as my second brain.

Since Apex launched, I bought a 1 time purchase of AC and have been putting that towards battle passes ever since. If you just completed the battle pass track, you would earn the AC you spent on it and some more back, without having to put more real $ in. This has kept me hooked for a while. But now it sounds like that’s not possible any more. If so, thank you EA. My addiction is broken. I am free.

Same… So far, closest thing I’ve seen is next-gen Porsche 718. I imagine it will be pushing $100K though, so if used prices halve 4 years after it’s release like they did with the Taycan, maybe I can justify… Hopefully my 205k mile 2017 Miata holds on til then. Or if they want to do a PHEV Miata, I’d be good with that. I drive a shitload so the fuel savings of either a PHEV or BEV is a big appeal for me, but I’m not willing to sacrifice open-top fun and minimalist nimbleness… Maybe it’s a contradiction, but I hope eventually it won’t be.

I scroll through arstechnica headlines and save to pocket the most interesting ones. When I am in the bathroom or having a snack I can choose from my saves which article I’d like to read, instead of mindlessly scrolling, and the saves indicate estimated reading time in minutes so I can pick the perfect article to match the amount of time I plan to spend. Best of all, the articles are saved in a minimalist text-only format, stripping out all ads and other garbage. It even bypasses some paywalls, like the login prompt on seekingalpha.
