What exactly is the “infrastructural help” you’re proposing?


Whenever I watch First Contact after a few years, the opening theme makes me tear up.


With the sadism of that country, I’d expect scaphism to be on that list.


I was never a big fan of Voyager, story-wise. But the theme is amazing.


Color radio was a big deal, to be fair.

Ah, I don’t rely on subtitles, so I’m not sure how that affects the viewing experience. There’s a fair amount of American slang and cop lingo, so I can see how it might at times be tough to follow.
Legacy is a spin-off, where Harry is no longer a cop but a private investigator, and his daughter is a rookie patrol officer. It’s not as good, but it scratches the itch a bit if one is a fan of the original show.


Sea Power is a lot of fun too.

If you like cop shows (and maybe even if you haven’t tried), there’s Bosch. Good investigations and occasional action in every season. Likeable actors.
