For example, you cannot call yourself tolerant if you are intolerant to christian , Muslim cultures that says there are only two genders. You can make a world where you define words how you want but demanding religious folks to adhere to your new speak is an act of intolerance. Living with those two different world views without killing each other is tolerance. There is no paradox here.
