41·10 days agoMan, back in my day I used to drop portable apps (I was one of the devs) on our network shares and use it that way because it didn’t work from a flash drive. Bur I helped IT so even when they found out many months later, they left me alone.

7·1 month agoThat’s gotta be a large part of it. 5 years ago, most bots used true user-agents to identity themselves. Today, on my work sites, about 98% of bot traffic (traffic coming from data centers) use slightly out of date Chrome user-agents. So we just block all data centers.
