That’s pretty cool looking. Kinda makes me wish they’d bring back the Friday the 13th game. That was a fun game, sucks they killed it off.

__Goblin@lemmy.caOPto Horror@lemmy.ca•what's a type of villain you'd like to see them make a movie about?English1·21 days agoI’ve seen cabin in the woods a ton of times and never noticed kevin, I had to look him up but that sounds like it could be really cool too. I’d give it a watch. Sexy witches could be pretty good too lol.
__Goblin@lemmy.caOPto Horror@lemmy.ca•what's a type of villain you'd like to see them make a movie about?English3·21 days agoThat sounds like it’d be really cool. I’m trying to think of any chupacabra movies I’ve seen before and I’m not really having anything come to mind. I’d check it out.
Just went to see this tonight. I never read the books or even heard of them until recently. I have no idea how to do spoilers so I’m not even gonna try. But I’m just wondering if anyone else who’s seen this who hasn’t read the books somewhat disappointed with the whole twist thing with frendo of who/what he is?
I was expecting something different but i could see it coming after they set it up. It’s still a decent movie.

Also looking forward to final destination blood lines. It being Tony Todd’s final movie I’d watch it just for that, but it also looks like another fun one.
__Goblin@lemmy.cato Horror@lemmy.ca•What's one movie that never got a sequel you wish had?English5·1 month agoCabin in the woods is always one I wish they’d do a sequel too. I think they could make a good post apocalyptic type horror comedy with the ancient gods destroying the earth and stuff like that.
I’d say barbarian for me, went in pretty much blind and really enjoyed it.
If we’re looking at the same part, I think that might be from me snipping off a little sprig of it to test it out. Thankfully when I did it did taste and smell like dill. The little bit underneath. I don’t know if that’s from me not pushing the seeds far enough into the sponge or something. I grew a carrot in this this last time to see what would happen and it had the same little discoloration.
Awesome thanks, Still pretty neat I guess. Maybe next time I’ll try with the other seed packet and see what happens lol.
Z nation is one I’ve actually seen years ago but actually forgot about. I think I’ll try to give that a revist. Freakish also looks interesting I’m gonna try to check that out too. Thanks
I’m ok if it just has them sometimes too. It’s been a long time since I watched Buffy I might throw that on the list too.
I don’t know why but your recommendation reminded me of another tv show I use to like called todd & the book of pure evil. I haven’t seen in a long time too. Might try to watch that also. Thanks
The first few seasons were some really awesome zombie stuff. But it fell off pretty hard after that. I might end up watching season 3 again too.
I’ve never heard of that one, but I looked it up and it looks like it like could be pretty cool. I think I’m gonna check that out. Thanks for the recommendation.
When I first started collecting I mostly bought random b horror movies that I hadn’t seen or heard of but thought looked interesting. Ended up discovering some I really like.
Probably a not a popular opinion. But I’d say In a violent nature. I can see why people don’t like it that much, but I thought it has really unique kills and really enjoyed the scenery in it. It’s a pretty good movie to me.
Runner up would probably be Beetlejuice beetlejuice. I enjoyed the continuation of the Beetlejuice story and thought it was well done.
__Goblin@lemmy.caOPto Horror@lemmy.ca•Now playing - Jack Brooks: Monster slayer (2007)English2·1 month agoIt’s one of the ones I’m kinda surprised I don’t see mentioned more, It’s a fun one. And one of my favorite Robert Englund rolls outside of nightmare on elm street.
I’ve mentioned it before but I’d say hatchet for modern day classic. I’ve watched the whole franchise more than any other I think.
For a favorite classic I’d say evil dead as well, it’s what got me into horror.
