I read this as “realistic time travel guide”. This is still useful, but not quite what I expected.

I don’t see why it wouldn’t work, really. I don’t know that you’ll get a ton of mileage out of trick magic item, since with scroll thaumaturgy you don’t need it for scrolls, but the occasional wand could be handy I suppose.

You could consider grabbing the diplomat-flavored Marshall archetype, for the bonus to accuracy to stack with the regalia’s bonus to damage.

Once you’re high enough level to reasonably consider at least basic enchanting it, you might grab yourself a melee weapon to use in a pinch, even if 80% of the time you manage to avoid melee combat there’s always going to be that situation where some large enemy with reach has you in a small room and your best hope is being a flanking buddy since you’re stuck anyway.

Make sure to keep a variety of weapons(ideally with a few different materials too) in your bandolier, even if you land on a particular one that seems to work best overall. Never know when you might need a cold iron slashing weapon.
