4·7 hours agoAge of Empires 2 is my most played game ever and extremely nostalgic. Conquerors was next to flawless especially with fan made AI that didn’t cheat resources. I liked to play sometimes with friends co-op against one brutally hard AI. Most of my time was online pvp matches, or making and scripting custom maps to post on AOE Heaven. MSN Zones first, then GameRanger when that shut down. A little bit (still hundreds of hours) when Forgotten Empires picked it back up too until I got overwhelmed.
While I love all the new expansions except the few mid ones, I think it’s too bloated now for PvP. I don’t want to memorize so many nations. I had a similar problem with Dead by Daylight and to a smaller extent, TF2. I got filtered I’m just too old to dump so many hours into a game now to keep track of all that shit, and not for a lack of free time actually in my case.
But I love the new SP campaigns!
I bet she’s quaking in her nazi boots in the country that doesn’t enforce law anymore hearing those therefore empty words until proven otherwise.

I can’t speak to Cosmic, but their existing system updater tool/app store was a crash prone pile of garbage that never got fixed for years. That’s right, the tool they shipped with was known broken open issue on github for YEARS. I know they were working on a replacement at a glacial pace that’s probably out by now, but I gave up waiting.
Then one day I updated and the latest linux kernel just didn’t work on my S76 branded laptop. Didn’t for MONTHS.
Maybe they’ve improved since, but I’m never giving them money again or using their software.
I view them as incompetent.

I’d rather live as long as possible, the idea doesn’t seem to bother me oddly enough. I’ve thought it through and still think I’d prefer extended life lifespan. I could elaborate, but people don’t generally like hearing my views on such things so I’m not going to.
That said, I think your opinion is the most common that I’ve heard, and it’s understandable.
Certainly not, but at least as long as humans are still around.
Yeah I’m not into hanging out inside a Red Giant/White Dwarf/Black Dwarf/Floating for trillions of years watching Heat Death personally.
