You can fast forward on yt though :p, so unless they remove that for the duration of the ad (in which case an addon could possibly use that to determine if an ad is being played) you could at least skip it manually. And maybe there’d be a crowd sourced solution to somehow determine the actual videos beginning (like detecting the first frame of the actual video or something, idk).

Thanks for the explanation :D I remember some of the things I found out before and now it finally makes more sense. I saw some of the names you mentioned but it never clicked for me that it’s (in-universe) multiple people’s writings that make up the book. It definitely sounds interesting, and I’m fearing and looking forward to how cringe-worthy the characters can get.

Are the user levels an actual defined thing and are there more?

Are you able to give a short summary what it’s about? I’ve had a few people saying it’s fantastic and very special to them but I didn’t really get much of an answer why. And trying to find anything on the internet hasn’t been successful to the point where I get what’s so appealing about it.

I could of course just try reading it for myself but it’s currently in a backlog along with quite a few other books :P

In my experience, that takes at most 30 seconds until they’re all submerged. Are we talking about really tiny pots, very long spaghetti, or such a short cooking time that the difference is noticeable?

To be fair, I personally like to let spaghetti boil a long time, but I’ve also never heard of anyone around me having problems with uneven cooking
