When thinking about some of my favorite anime and light novel characters, and my waifu… gotta go with blue.

My feelings might be in conflict with the available evidence. I preferred the instance being approval only (but I also assume that also created a large admin burden, which is an important consideration).

Once approval was lifted I expected a bunch of disruption… however at least in the communities I’m following that hasn’t happened. Perhaps my fears were unfounded. If anything, it seems like conversation has potentially lessened at is late (or maybe the level is actually the same or even increased, but just split into more or different communities now?).

In any case, while I still like the idea of approvals being required, if I’m trying to be rational, maybe they weren’t actually providing much value compared to the effort that was required?

This is probably the wrong way to do things, but I use Local and then block communities less aligned with the fap I’m into. That way if a new community is created I see it.

I suppose it’d be fair to say that there is no ideal partner for me.

I sawed the daemons: they’re over on Pawoo constantly sharing their fucking CP. I guess it’s easier to go after artists than catch criminals harming actual children. Had more to say, but it turned into a rant.

Not only that, but many therapists will not take pedophile clients due to lack of training, some might report them to police because they assume every pedophile is a child molester, and so they report them in order to protect themselves in the face of mandatory reporting laws, and others might take them, but only have training dealing with offending pedophiles. This makes it difficult and risky for a nonoffending pedophile to get a therapist, and even if they do, the therapist may not actually be able to help them. So, ironically, the current pedophile panic could actually be increasing risk to children.
