  • I never said the democrats were good. American politics are broken. There are only 2 choices. Those choices are not the same. Republicans control the american government despite democrats having the presidency. Yes they could do more but they are hamstrung by republicans. Imagine what republicans are going to do with the presidency, senate, and house at the same time.

Maybe you’re not American, or anti-west, or anti-capitalism, and want this to happen - your goal is to watch them burn. Do you think the fallout from this won’t be global?

This is a Rubicon moment. Things will never be the same and that change will not be positive. Maybe at the end of it things might get better but the end of it is many decades away and in that time do you think republicans are going to help solve climate change or stop the genocide I’m Gaza, or uphold human rights if there is money to be made for the 1%? Spoiler, there’s always money to be made for the 1%. And a lot of people want that but there’s too many people who ignorantly think they have a shot at being part of the clique but they will never be.

Alternative forms of government/better options than the democrats and republicans are now off the table for that time period and IF the opportunity actually ever comes it will too late and probably only after a war worse than any that came before it. And I’m not counting the wars that will happen between now and then, which will also be worse than have happened already.

I’m not sure what your mental deficiency is but it’s clear you are being purposefully obtuse and I imagine you get off on all this. I hope you get everything you deserve and have your very own leopards ate my face moment but unfortunately that will likely be at the expense of everyone else.

    You are wrong.

    Reassess your life.

For the sake of the world.

  • According to authors [CheolHong Lim] and [DongSeok Seo], the research covered in this paper was undertaken because of reports of rare cancers among Korean STEM teachers, particularly those who used 3D printers in their curricula. It was thought that only long-term, continued exposure to the particulates generated by 3D printers could potentially be hazardous and that PLA was less likely to be hazardous than ABS. The study was designed to assess the potential carcinogenicity of both ABS and PLA particulates under conditions similar to what could be expected in an educational setting.

  • I know what the video says but that doesn’t mean it’s right just because it’s a video someone made. It could be completely wrong, it could be right about one thing or about many things.

Roads should be designed with safety as a consideration but that doesn’t excuse incompetent driving. You’re in control of a weapon that can do serious damage, it shouldn’t be a hot take to think that skill and consideration should be applied at all times when someone sits behind a wheel.

Make sure the car is in neutral and handbrake is on before starting. It’s not strictly necessary but you should make this a habit for safety.

Buckle up. Make yourself aware of your surroundings.

Insert and turn key / press button. Newer cars require clutch and/or brake to be pressed to start, check the car manual if unsure.

Key shouldn’t need to be turned for long - if its kept turned when the engine starts you’ll hear a horrible grinding noise. Avoid this.

The car should now be started. Take your foot off clutch/brake, nothing will happen (as long as you ate in neutral with handbrake on).

To start moving, press the clutch, put the gear stick in 1st, start smoothly lifting your foot off the clutch. You’re looking for the bite point of the clutch - when you start to feel the car want to move. This takes practice and you will stall the car many times before its natural. Once you’ve found the bite point, its time to release the hand brake*, and start gently pressing the accelerator as you lift your foot the rest of the way off the clutch.

It takes a while for this to be smooth.

*you could release the hand brake before this and use the brake pedal instead.

When you want to change gears, take your foot off the accelerator, press the clutch, move the gear stick to the right gear, release the clutch smoothly, press the accelerator
