  • I want to be able to rate games as ‘meh’, a lot of games i dont feel strongly enough to say its outright good or bad.

Example: there is an extremely highly rated game from a few years ago that i got around to playing, but to me it was just okay and i’ll probably never get around to finishing it. Based on my achievement progress i find it highly unlikely that 95% of the reviewers have finished the game either. They probably reviewed it after playing for an hour.

I dont want to review it as good or bad so instead i just wont.

But if 0 is bad and 1 is good then tallying 0.5 as meh shouldnt be that hard.

  • What part of what i said villainized HIPAA?

Even if what you said is true, he just has to see the tweet for it to be a violation.

Data disclosure without authorization of the patient is a violation, and that doesn’t matter who its disclosed to.

Source I work in medtech, i do yearly trainings on handling patient data, and its unlikely im related to any of them 😅

Edit: to clarify… we are arguing about the doctor disclosing to the internet that this woman got an epidural, and whether or not that is a potential HIPAA violation right?

  • In terms of social values left. Even the last conservative prime minister was smart enough to keep his opinions to himself and not try to push evangelical policies, he knew he would lose.

In terms of economics… well the average person globally doesn’t know the difference between monatary policy, fiscal policy, and their own asshole. Currently Canadians are being promised a magical fix all solution with absolutely no details, but they sure are angry that things are expensive, so at the moment right.

  • Yeah Northern Ireland could basically just vote to join Ireland.

Scottland would have a harder time. As much as i support the idea they would have to leave the UK, develop an economy good enough to meet the joining criteria (might need to create their own currency), then get permission to join from all member states, including the ones with seperatist movements which dont want to be seen as lenient towards seperatist causes.

It is possible as they could likely use the Euro in the mid term (but this would cause their borrowing rates to be higher than if they had their own currency, as they have no control over monetary policy) and maybe the countries with seperatist movements wouldnt care as they’re leaving the UK. But its a bit of a gamble…

    Edit: added clarification about currencies
